New Delhi: Rajya Sabha today witnessed continued disruption of house proceedings by members over different issues.
When the house convened, Congress MPs raised the issue of renaming of Hyderabad airport and created ruckus in the house.
This led to the house being adjourned for 10 minutes.
TMC members who staged a protest outside parliament in the morning against government's stand on black money raised it in Rajya Sabha as well and this time they all wore black shawls to register their protest. Earlier, they had used black umbrellas to register their protest.
When the house re-assembled, TMC MP Derek O'Brien raised the issue of SBI loan to industrialist Adani and alleged that the bank gave loan to Adani because of his closeness to Narendra Modi.
BJP MPs led by union minister Venkaiah Naidu protested vehemently and amidst the din, the house was adjourned till 2pm.
