New Delhi, Nov 29: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, who underwent an angioplasty procedure following blockage in one of her arteries, was discharged from the hospital today and has been advised rest for a few days by doctors.
Dikshit, who was admitted to the hospital on Monday night following uneasiness and throat infection, left the hospital for home today late evening.
Dr Ashok Seth, Chairman of Cardiac Sciences at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, said Dikshit has made “good progress” after the angioplasty procedure.
“She has made good progress and all her vital parameters are fine,” Seth told PTI.
