New Delhi: While the much-awaited Delhi Assembly elections are round the corner, and the campaigning about to get over; the three coveted personalities – Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Arvind Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi are going to Delhiites with their own distinct personal jibes and box full of promises.

Starting with PM Modi, he addressed his fourth and the last meeting on Wednesday to a crowd of around 20,000 people and like always, he openly pin-pointed his rivals especially, the mufflerman over his dubious donations row.

He did not miss to mellow down the controversy over BJP's vision document also, which referred to those from the northeast as “immigrants”, something that even caused an unpredictable violence in certain areas of Assam.

He admitted that it was a just a “typographical error”.

To substantiate his take, BJP leader and Minister Nirmala Sitharman, quickly took the opportunity to nail the rivals by saying that Congress and AAP have not even referred to North-eastern people, leave alone a mere typographical error.

While this was during the day, the grounds were set much before by BJP's Chief Ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi in the morning itself when on one hand she pinned down Kejriwal by saying that the latter is more concerned about his TV mileage than even his reputation and on the other hand, she tried to gain sympathy of the people of her constituency, Krishna Nagar, by wiping tears and stating that how overwhelmed was she by their affection..

Taking stance on this, AAP women workers led by actor-activist Gul Panag and former banker Meera Sanyal were seen dancing to loud drum beats and raising slogans such as “Pehle Sheila hari hai, ab Bedi ki bari hai”.

Kejriwal, not lagging behind, openly countered BJP by questioning on the spiked ‘Hawala at Night' row, “I want to ask, in the past 65 years, since when has hawala money been taken by cheque."

He even went to the chief election commissioner stating that the electronic voting machines (EVMs) have been tampered with to suit BJP, an accusation that the poll panel ruled out.

If the Congress scion Rahul is being missed in this entire election hullabaloo, then he is nowhere to be left behind. He took on BJP by saying that PM has failed to deliver his promises made during the Lok Sabha polls of bringing back black money and countering inflation.

He mocked at Modi's ‘Make in India' campaign by saying,”The PM wears suits worth Rs 10 lakh, but even that is not made in India. It is made in the UK, and he speaks of 'Make in India'.
