With BJP and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in a neck-and-neck fight for the Delhi assembly, it's the faceless, dedicated cadre of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its other wings who are working hard to give the BJP an edge.

The high voltage campaign ended at 5 pm on Thursday. Now RSS along with its ally Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is sending their members of the cadres are now making a more focused approach through door to door contacts, individual meetings in Delhi.

The members were moving in small group and covering the localities assigned to them till Thursday evening but now they are meeting families either individually or as a unit of two or three people.

A Swayam Sevak said, “The door to door campaign is going on for more than two months but now they are focussing on one on one or just a small cluster of four to five people. Our objective is not to gather crowd. We're simultaneously taking care so as not to violate Election Commission's model code of conduct."

The Volunteers include comprises students, professionals, ex-service men and government and semi-government employees as well.

“Our focus is not on an individual candidate contesting the election. We're urging the voters that there is a need for nationalistic forces to unite and vote against parties harbouring pseudo-secular, anti-nationalistic ideology” said a worker.
