Hussainabad/Garhwa (Jharkhand): BJP President Amit Shah today said that there was a "contradiction" in Jharkhand Cabinet as the ruling alliance have been contesting against each other in the Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Addressing separate election meetings at Hussainabad and Garhwa seeking votes for party candidates, Shah asked how RJD claimed to form government when there was a "contradiction" in the ruling alliance in the state.

Congress broke ties with JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) last month after failing to forge pre-poll alliance with it, but Congress continues to support Hemant Soren-led government.

While the JMM is contesting alone, Congress and RJD continued the alliance for the elections.

The BJP leader asked the people to be cautious as the

RJD-Congress would join hands after polls to place again a "Madhu Koda-like" government -- referring to the two parties supporting the erstwhile Koda government between 2006 and 2008.

He said the party's agenda was to make a Congress-free government everywhere, adding the BJP is committed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of development.

Addressing another meeting at Garhwa, Shah said BJP was also committed to pull Jharkhand along the developmental path at par with Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.

Committing to complete the long-pending Kanhar irrigation project in Garhwa, Shah said injustice was done to Jharkhand and the BJP was determined to put the state on the path of development.
