New Delhi: Members of Congress today staged protest outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's residence in the capital over the suicide of Rajasthan farmer Gajendra Singh in a rally organised by Aam Aadmi Party yesterday.
Youth Congress members reached Kejriwal's residence early in the morning, shouting slogans and holding placards. A placard held by one of the Youth Congress protester read, “Gajendra Ka Hatyara Kaun? Aam Aadmi Party (Who is Gajendra's murderer? Aam Admi Party!)
While the protest was going on, Kejriwal held a meeting with Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh, Gopal Rai, Pankaj Gupta, Kumar Vishwas at his residence to discuss the matter.

After Congress protest, BJP members were also seen protesting outside the Delhi Police headquarters demanding action against the culprits. The protesters have now moved to Shaheedi Park in ITO near the headquarters.
Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay said, “This was a motivated murder, an FIR should be lodged for murder.”
Meanwhile, Home Minsiter Rajnath Singh along with senior leaders of cabinet Venkaiah Naidu, Manohar Parrikar & Nitin Gadkari are meeting with PM Modi in parliament to discuss the matter.
