BSP chief's speech largely focused on the strategies that BSP would formulate to resolve issues faced by the minorities, migrants and the economically weaker section.
Mayawati termed rising prices of essential commodities and corruption as the biggest problems. "Sky rocketing prices have left the poor of the capital in a much poorer state," she said.
She also criticised the Delhi government for not being able to provide adequate safety to the women, saying the "law and order situations is deteriorating".
Besides the SC/ST and OBC vote bank, the party is also trying to woo as many Muslim voters as possible.
