New Delhi: Alleging that successive Congress and BJP governments in the national capital have ignored migrants, BSP chief Mayawati today promised that if voted to power her party will resolve the issues being faced by them.
Mayawati also promised to address problems faced by minorities, migrants and people belonging to economically weaker section.
"Delhi is a state with a large population of migrant workers. Poverty is a major issue in our country that forces people to shift to metros for livelihood. But both Congress and BJP met out step motherly treatment to them," said Mayawati while addressing a rally in Najafgarh here.
"The Congress and BJP have barely done anything for the uplift of poor. We promise to bring development in the capital the same way as it was done in Uttar Pradesh during our regime," she said.
