Patna, Oct 22 (PTI) Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley today said that comparing Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi with late socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan is an attempt to lower the loknayak's stature.
'I don't know what somebody has said about somebody... but I think it will be an attempt to lowering the stature of a leader like Jayaprakash Narayan who has made significant and great contributions to the freedom struggle or otherwise in India," Jaitley said here.
Congress spokesperson Mohan Prakash had drawn a parallel between the late socialist leader and Gandhi saying "...after Jayaprakash Prakash Narayan, Rahul Gandhi has addressed the needs, concerns and the future of the youth of the country." PTI
