Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today said civic facilities in Varanasi, the Lok Sabha constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be developed further.
Yadav said this in his meeting with Governor Ram Naik and Varanasi Mayor Ram Gopal Mohle today. The Chief Minister gave assurance that all necessary facilities like sewage, potable water and bridge etc in Varanasi will be further development, according to a Raj Bhawan release.
During the meeting, the Governor also discussed various other issues including progress in the rehabilitation work of leprosy patients, about which the Chief Minister said that the process was on. The matter had been raised during an earlier meeting between the two.
The two also held discussion on observing ‘Uttar Pradesh Day' on January 24, the release added.
