Jamshedpur: A strong wave in favour of BJP has been sweeping across Jharkhand before the five-phase assembly election, Bhojpuri actor and BJP MP Manoj Tiwary said today.
“I have campaigned in seven assembly constituencies going to poll in the first phase including Garwah, Bhavnathpur, Panki, Daltongunj and the response has been overwhelmingly in favour of BJP,” Tiwary, a BJP MP from North East Delhi, said.
Addressing a press conference here, Tiwary appealed the people of Jharkhand to vote for BJP as Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government at Centre has shown remarkable success on all fronts including decreasing prices of petrol and diesel, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, Swach Bharat Abhiyan and labour reform.
Raising slogans such as “Dil ki sune, BJP ko Chune”, Tiwary said, “The people of Jharkhand have been fed up with political instability during the last 14 years and have made up their minds to vote for BJP to install a majority government to march on the path of development.” Appreciating Modi for leading the country on the path of fast development, Tiwary said the country, which were reluctant to shake hand with Modi, were embracing him because of his clear vision of development.
Asked about BJP's decision to forge alliance with AJSU Party, Tiwary said BJP has a policy to take along small party willing to support it and decided to have pre-poll alliance to send clear message among the voters.
