New Delhi: With the Delhi Assembly elections drawing near, BJP has sought suggestions from industry honchos for innovative campaigning involving social media. State party unit has called a meeting of executives of MNCs and social media specialists to discuss blueprint of its election campaign on November 29.
“We want to use their expertise in our election campaign. In this meeting, we have invited several executives of multi-national companies and social media specialists to seek their suggestions in creating party's innovative campaign,” said a BJP leader.
He also said that on that day, senior party leaders will discuss the blueprint of party's campaign strategy to reach out to every person of the society, especially the youth. “During discussions, we will also focus on social media as it is prominent tool to reach out to youths. On the suggestions of social media specialists, party will work out and make strategy,” he also said.
Meanwhile, for the purpose of taking the BJP membership campaign directly to the people, BJP's youth wing will initiate membership campaign in the buses in the national capital from tomorrow.
Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay also made an assessment of the party's membership campaign and the Swacchta Abhiyan by the various zones of both the corporations in trans Yamuna area.
Aswani Upadhyay, a founder member of AAP who had yesterday joined the saffron party, has been appointed as a spokesperson by the BJP.
