Lucknow, Apr 7 : BSP today dismissed as "political drama" BJP's report on "100 major scams" during Mayawati government and said if the opposition party was so concerned over corruption it should first release figures of its own state governments.
"All allegations of corruption levelled by BJP against the BSP government are false and baseless and the book released by the party is only a political drama," BSP state chief and cabinet minister Swami Prasad Maurya said here.
Maurya alleged that BJP leaders were not able to bear a dalit Chief Minister and said it reflected their anti-dalit and casteist mentality.
On construction of memorials in honour of icons, he said all work has been carried out as per rules and through a transparent process.
He alleged that BJP wanted to create confusion among farmers over land acquisition. PTI
