Lucknow, May 30: The BJP today released a CD containing what it alleged 100 scams that took place during the BSP-led Mayawati regime in Uttar Pradesh.
"The documentary is a visual presentation of the scams of the BSP government and is an earnest attempt to take the fight against corruption to the people," BJP secretary Kirit Somaiya told reporters here.
"A party delegation will meet the Governor on June one and submit the CD and other documents demanding action against the Mayawati government," UP BJP president Surya Pratap Shahi said.
Somaiya said in April the party had released a list of "100 scams that occurred during the BSP rule".
The party was also organising exhibitions at different places in state on the issue, he said.
"The CD is a short documentary on the Mayajaal in the state," Somaiya said.
On acquisition of farmers' land in Noida, Somaiya alleged it was allotted to two companies which were formed last year with a capital of merely rupees one lakh each.
Shahi said the party would demand a high-level inquiry into the land allotment in Noida during a meeting with the Governor.
On BSP's state-wide agitation against hike in petrol prices, he described it as an "eyewash". PTI
