Thiruvananthapuram: BJP President Amit Shah will be in Kerala for two days starting from today to gear up the organization for future elections in the state.
Shah will be meeting state leaders at Palakkad today. His focus will be on strategies that the BJP would adopt for Assembly polls in early 2016. Kerala will also be witnessing civic elections soon.
Shah is also likely to address a public meeting at Pakakkad this evening. Tomorrow, he will be in Kochi and is scheduled to address the press there.
Kerala politics, of late, has been dominated by coalitions led by Congress and CPI (M).
In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP had failed to open its account in Kerala. However, the saffron party's vote share rose to 10.5% in these elections.
Shah visited Thiruvanathapuram in June last and addressed a convention of party workers from across the state.
