New Delhi, March 16 :  Congress today urged for caution in reacting on the sudden mysterious death of Sadiq Batcha, a close aide of former Telecom Minister A Raja and asked the BJP to be a "little more responsible".

Responding to a question that BJP has apprehended a conspiracy in Batcha's death, party spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan wondered how the "BJP already found out conspiracy" within hours of the incident.

"It would be wise to be restrained in reacting on the incident. Before all the details are out, reading any conspiracy theory would be wrong. It would be better if the BJP is a little more responsible in reactions," she added.

Natarajan also downplayed the controversy surrounding the Income Tax order seeking details of MoUs signed between the Gujarat government and private investors during Vibrant Gujarat Summit in January.

"The fact of the matter is that this was in response to a letter written on basis of some information given by the Leader of Opposition (belonging to Congress) in Gujarat," she said when asked to comment on BJP's strong reaction to it.

The opposition party caused frequent disruptions in Rajya Sabha over the issue almost washing out its business for the day.

She also refused to react on Wikileaks reports that Gandhi family was 'elitist' and there was over dependence in Congress on 'Gandhi brand'. PTI
