New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has asked its all MPs to listen Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mathura rally and party chief Amit Shah's press conference live on May 25.
It has also asked its workers to highlight the achievements of one-year old government to counter smear campaign by opposition.
Modi will on May 25 address a rally at Nagla Chadrabhan village in Mathura, the parental village of BJP ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, to mark the completion of NDA government's one year in office at the Centre.
Earlier this week, the Prime Minister had met top Cabinet colleagues and party chief Amit Shah to review the performance of his government.
The saffron party has decided to hold several programmes between May 25 and May 31 to celebrate the first anniversary of Modi government. According to a circular issued by the party on Wednesday, the week beginning May 25 would be marked as 'Jan Kalyan Parv' under which the party would be holding around 250 rallies and 500 press conferences.
Prominent leaders of the party would be addressing these rallies across the country, while other MPs would be directed to address rallies in their constituency.
