New Delhi: Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan today said that he will do everything to 'destroy' the alliance between Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's JD(U) and Lalu Prasad Yadav's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) for the upcoming assembly polls in the state.

"We want to destroy the Lalu-Nitish coming together so will do whatever is possible for that. We have nothing to fear, the NDA alliance is together," said Paswan.

Paswan once again reiterated that Lalu and Nitish will fight each other over ticket distribution.

"These people (JDU and RJD) will defeat each other. Both will stab each other. I was with them and I know Nitish and Lalu," he said.

LJP is a part of ruling NDA alliance at the Centre.

In Bihar, the BJP, LJP, Upendra Khuswaha's Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) and former CM Jitan Ram Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) will contest the polls together.

The 'Janata Parivar' - an alliance of JD(U), RJD, Congress and NCP - has declared Nitish Kumar as its chief ministerial candidate.

Earlier, Paswan had said that the NDA allies will abide by the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. "He is the chief of the government. Whatever he decides, we will abide by it," he had said.

Last week, election in-charge of BJP in poll-bound Bihar, Ananth Kumar, had made it clear that the NDA will contest upcoming elections in the name of Narendra Modi.

"The party will not announce any name for the chief ministership. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the face of party for the upcoming election," he told reporters at Patna airport.

Assembly polls in the state will take place in September-October later this year.
