Patna: If reports are to believed, Union minister and Lok Janshakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan  is considering  to field his kith and kins on 25%  of its share of seats in NDA alliance for upcoming Bihar Assembly polls.

According to reports, Union minister is under pressure from his relatives including his nephew, son in law, cousin, who are keen to jump into poll fray.

The LJP chief's son-in-laws Anil Kumar Sadhu, the state president of Dalit Sena, and Mrinal Paswan, vice president party's Bihar unit is also willing to contest this time. He unsuccessfully fought the last assembly election from Masaurhi.

Paswan's cousin Maheshwar Hazari and in law Punit Rai had won on LJP tickets in 2005.

Notably, Paswan's close relatives are already holding important positions in party's Bihar Unit.

Paswan's one brother, Ram Chandra Paswan, is a parliamentarian while younger brother and former legislator Pasupati Kumar Paras is the LJP state president. Paswan's only son Chirag Paswan is an MP and chairman of the LJP parliamentary board.

Ram Chandra Paswan's son Prince Kumar now aspires to contest from Kalyanpur, a reserved seat, in Samastipur district.

Assembly elections in Bihar would be fought in five phases between October 12 and November 5 in a high-stakes battle, seen as a major popularity test for the NDA spearheaded by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and incumbent Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who was in alliance with the RJD and the Congress.
