New Delhi: The Karnataka video clip controversy which took place in 2012 is also referred as 'Porngate'.
The seeds of the controversy were laid in Spring Zouk, which was a festival held in the month of February 2012 at Udupi beach on St. Mary's Island in Karnataka. It was organized aiming at enhancement of international tourism in the state.
