Apart from sprucing up the maidan, North Delhi Municipal corporation had decorated the venue with fresh flowers and potted plants.
Sanitary and toilet facilities had also been provided at the 15-acre venue. Mobile toilet stations have also been kept there.
Crowd management and security at the venue were handled by Delhi Police.
The PWD had painted pavements and road-dividers on the periphery of the maidan. CATS ambulances were also stationed at the venue.
