Itanagar, Jan 24: Arunachal Pradesh unit of BJP today hailed the election of Rajnath Singh as the party president and expressed confidence in his leadership and focused attention.
During a meeting chaired by vice-president Padmeswari Jamoh here, the party also viewed seriously the allegation of Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde that ‘Safron Terror' - BJP cadres and RSS - was promoting Hindu terrorism in the country.
"His remark is highly irresponsible, cheap and unbecoming," a party release said.
BJP expects good politics from the country's oldest political party, the release.
