RS: Does it mean that if Modi becomes PM and you get a responsible position in the govt then Manmohan Singh will be consulted on economic matters.
AJ: I'll tell you one thing. When I was the commerce Minister, there were a lot of issues on WTO. When things used to become serious, I had to seek PM's advise. There were two other persons who I used to consult both before and after attending any international conference were Dr Manmohan singh and Pranab Babu. And whatever decisions we took, like drawing line on concessions, were taken with advice from these two people.
RS: You enlightened me on history. I want to know about future.
AJ: The people who have held so many positions, we may have differences with them, but it will be a good system if a former PM guides the nation.
