Ranchi, March 10: BJP leader Arjun Munda, who resigned as Chief Minister on January 8, today put in his papers from the post of the legislature party leader.
"Arjun Munda has sent in his resignation the post of BJP-LP leader to party's national president Rajnath Singh," party's Jharkhand unit spokesman Pradip Sinha said here.
Sinha, however, said he did not know the content of the resignation letter when asked whether Munda was keen to focus on national politics.
Munda had represented Lok Sabha from Jamshedpur before quitting it to take over as the chief minister for the third time in September 2010.
Now, he represents Kharsawan in the state assembly.
