New Delhi, Sept 5: London based NRI Anshuman Mishra has offered Rs 1 crore prize money to anyone who puts a garland of shoes on MNS chief Raj Thackrey.
In a statement, Mishra has said, he would offer the money even if any body throws a shoe at the MNS chief, as an Iraqi journalist had done the same to former US president George W. Bush in Baghdad.
"Such a person will not only get Rs 1 crore, but a job anywhere in New York or London, based on his or her resume", Mishra's statement says. The job would be given to ensure lifelong protection to the shoethrower, Mishra said.
In his statement, Mishra has lambasted Raj Thackeray for threatening to throw Bihari migrants out of Maharashtra saying it was a threat to the unity and integrity of India.
Mishra, an NRI businessman, was in the news recently, when he tried to wangle a ticket to Rajya Sabha from Jharkhand, but his efforts were nipped in the bud after intervention by senior BJP leaders.
