Chandigarh: Bharatiya Janata Party national president Amit Shah will tour the entire country to monitor the party's campaign and also meet district heads and workers of the BJP to discuss organisational matters.

Party national secretary Tarun Chugh today said BJP will launch ‘Maha Sampark' campaign across the country from May 1 which will continue till July 31.

This would be followed by a ‘Maha Parshikshan' campaign, beginning August 1 till October 31, Chugh said in a released statement.

Informing about the campaign, the national secretary said BJP chief Shah would be touring entire country to monitor the campaign.

He would be in Himachal on May 1 and in Punjab on May 2 and 3 before going to Punjab where he would address 15,000 active members of the party during a workshop, to be held at Jalandhar.

Chugh said the party would be holding workshops across the country during the campaign and active members of the party would be trained to raise awareness among people regarding achievements and policies of BJP and the government.

During the campaign, Shah would be meeting each and every district president of the party and would discuss organisational matters with them, he said.

“The motive of this interaction would be to effectively and convincingly convey to the masses the programmes and policies of the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.

He said that after the ‘Maha Sampark' campaign, the party would be holding workers' training camps across the country for three months, from August 1 to October 31. These camps would be held in all the mandals.

Chugh said that an elaborate programme has been chalked by Shah to further strengthen the party even as it has already achieved the honour and distinction of being world's largest political party.
