Shah worked as a stock-broker for some time during which period he joined the BJP and came close to the party patriarch L K Advani.

Amit Shah managed several of Advani's election campaigns of Gandhinagar.

Amit was the youngest chairman of the Gujarat State Finance Corporation Ltd.

Amit Shah was also appointed as the chairman of Ahmedabad Cooperation Bank.



In 2003, BJP won a second term in Gujarat and Amit Shah was inducted as the youngest minister in Modi cabinet.

Very soon, Amit Shah emerged as the right hand man of Modi.

And today, Amit Shah is considered as the alter ego of BJP's prime ministerial candidate.

With Amit Shah as the BJP president , Narendra Modi will have complete control over the BJP and this will further boost his image as the man who believes in getting things done as per his wish.
