Ballia, Apr 17 : Expelled Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh is all set to launch a new political party - Rashtriya Lokmanch.
“The process of getting the new party registered and allotment of symbol is in the final phase at the Election Commission of India,” Amar Singh's younger brother Arvind Singh said here today.
He said that it was expected that the party would be formally constituted by the month end after registration with the Election Commission.
He also announced the name of Manoj Yadav as Rashtriya Lokmanch's candidate from Sikanderpur seat for the 2012 state Assembly elections.
Singh termed the Uttar Pradesh government's decision to hand over the proposed Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences at Azamgarh to private sector as an injustice to the people of Poorvanchal. PTI
