Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today expressed gratitude to people for wishing fast recovery of his father and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav, who is admitted at a hospital in Gurgaon after he was suspected to be suffering from swine flu.
“His medical condition is improving. I thank well wishers and those praying for his fast recovery,” Akhilesh tweeted.
The 75-year-old was admitted to the Medanta Hospital late last night after he complained of breathlessness and uneasiness.
Yadav has been advised rest and there is no need to panic, Samajwadi Party Spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary had said earlier in the day.
“Mulayam Singh Yadav is being examined in Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon under the supervision of Dr Naresh Trehan,” he said.
