Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday invited suggestions from former President APJ Abdul Kalam for development of the state.
"You are most welcome to give your presentation for the development of the state. Please apprise about your programme for the same," Yadav said in a letter to Kalam.
Yadav was replying to Kalam, who had written to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister on April 10 showing his interest in development of the state.
Kalam, in his letter, had highlighted various issues. Yadav said, in UP a number of schemes have been launched for poor and more were in the offings.
