New Delhi, Mar 11: BJP seems to have finally decided that L K Advani will no longer be part of the core group taking crucial decisions of the party.
According to some media reports, the RSS has come up with a formula under which all key decisions of the party will now be taken collectively by a group comprising Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, party president Rajnath Singh, former president Nitin Gadkari and leaders of opposition in two houses of parliament, Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley.
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Narendra Modi had reportedly discussed this arrangement recently. This seems to be the end of the road for Advani who is increasingly being seen as a dissident in the party. Recently, he had expressed his unhappiness over the party's failure to fight corruption effectively. He went to the extent of saying that people of India are equally disillusioned with both Congress and BJP.
