On asked whether the corporate world is worried about the economic policy of the party after the Delhi's government's decision to give free water, he said the party was “deliberately pragmatic” over its policies including one on economy.

“We are a problem solver and approach problem in a very pragmatic way. We are a evidence driven party which believes in empirical data.

“If (people say) subsidies have failed then let's find out why it has failed and if we still continue to give subsidies despite then it would be silly,” Yadav said.

He added that it would be a “complete misunderstanding” to say that party is “left of Left.” When asked about the number of Lok Sabha seats AAP will contest, he said, “Although we have got cross-section support, we still have not decided on how many seats we will contest.

We have got a very good response from Haryana and UP. “Even the response from Gujarat is very good. It depends upon what type of candidates we get,” he said.
