New Delhi: Police are looking for AAP leaders Ashutosh and Shazia Ilmi and have already arrested 14 party members Thursday for rioting outside the BJP office here Wednesday, officialsaid.
"We have arrested 14 members so far and are looking out for AAP leaders Ashutosh and Shazia Ilmi," a police official told IANS.
A first information report (FIR) registered against Aam Aadmi Party workers and leaders names Ashutosh, Ilmi, Anand Kumar and some other legislators and party workers for rioting Wednesday.
Police said a total of 33 people were detained after clashes erupted between AAP and Bharatiya Janata Party supporters, and were booked later under various sections of the Indian Penal Code for unlawful assembly, rioting, assault on public servants and unlawful activities.
Some of those held were let off Thursday morning.
The clashes took place when AAP supporters gathered outside the BJP office in central Delhi. They were protesting party chief Arvind Kejriwal's 30-minute detention in Gujarat.
