New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's donations have dwindled to a new low with the party collection only Rs 42,727 in the last 10 days of this month.

The first 10 days of the this month fetched Rs 3,27,806 to the party.

AAP has been in the midst of a controversy for the last couple of months with the high end drama involving founder members Prashant Bhushan and Yogendra Yadav which ultimately led to their ouster from the top decision-making bodies of the party. Yadav and Bhushan along with party members Anand Kumar and Ajit Jha held a dialogue with party volunteers, ‘Swaraj Samvad', without the consent of the party leadership. A decision was taken in the dialogue to launch a non-political campaign ‘Swaraj Abhiyaan'.

The four leaders have been issued show cause notice by the party over the dialogue.

Since the controversy broke into the media, the donations for the party dipped dramatically.

The donor of party chief Arvind Kejriwal's famous blue Wagon R car asked it back after the Yadav-Bhushan controversy and Kejriwal's alleged dictatorial behaviour within the party. The day after that the party received Rs 1,24,569 in donations.

The day Yadav and Bhushan were voted out of the party's national executive, it received Rs 1,20,689 in donations. The day that the sting, where Arvind Kejriwal was heard asking former AAP MLA Rajesh Garg to poach Congress MLAs, was released, the party received Rs 1,303,862 in donations.
