New Delhi: In yet another revelation that exposes the internal rift in Punjab faction of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), an audio tape of a purported telephonic conversation between two leaders has surfaced in which the they criticized party's leadership for its inept handling of the party's affairs in state unit.

In the telephonic conversation between AAP's Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann and Patiala MP Dharamvir Gandhi, former can be heard criticising party high command for terming local MPs as 'good for nothing'.

In the audio clip, Mann has also claimed that his victory in last year's Lok Sabha poll had nothing to do with party and he won because of his own popularity.

Sangur MPs voice could be heard saying, "Punjab is not Delhi where the party could win elections with ease. They also say Bhagwant Mann keeps cracking jokes. We have won elections because we have a personality. I am a celebrity for last 20 years."

Meanwhile, Dharamvir Gandhi has admitted that conversation happened a day before Arvind Kejriwal took oath as Delhi chief minister but denied, recording it.

Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh has sought to downplay the controversy describing the audio clip as 'edited'. "Such edited audio and video clips are nothing new. People are not interested in all this," he said.
