”They had planned it that all their members will be present. The majority had already been contrived and therefore by a stronger majority, this report based on false facts has come,” he said.
Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said the adoption of report was a “black day” for democracy.
”This report is a dark day in history of free India... 2G (scam) is one of the biggest scams,” said Prasad.
”They did not discuss anything, said they have to adopt the report urgently. They had not called a meeting for five months,” he said.
The BJP leader said it was an attempt to save Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, and the BJP would give a “strong” dissent note in two weeks.
”The report is to save Manmohan Singh and Chidambaram. We will give a serious dissent note in which we will present the role of government in fact,” he said.
