New Delhi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has set a record by addressing 243 rallies during the Bihar Assembly polls.
Known for his quirky style and mass appeal, Lalu aggressively campaigned this time because after a series of personal and political setbacks in a decade, this election was an opportunity for him to secure fresh political legitimacy.
One of the star campaigners of the 'Grand Alliance', Lalu first invoked 'Mandal Raj part 2' fear and later described PM Narendra Modi 'bramhapishaach' (super demon) ensuring that his old-style politics comes to the fore once again.

1. I am the biggest tantric. (Lalu's comment came after Union Minister Giriraj Singh released a video showing CM Nitish Kumar meeting a 'tantrik'. The two-minute clip went viral on social media in which the tantric shouted 'Lalu murdabad')

5. We, the grand alliance, have dulha (bridegroom) Nitish Kumar. But BJP-led NDA has no dulha.
6. BJP's 'narbhakshi' (cannibal) Amit Shah finally went mad he said in a speech that Pakistan will celebrate when the mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) wins the Assembly elections. Once again he has managed to insult the people of Bihar but this time it has gone below the belt.
