Bundi (Raj), Apr 16: Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi deserves to be the BJP's prime ministerial candidate for the next general election, a party leader from Rajasthan said.
BJP MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat, however, noted that the “ultimate decision” on this matter would be taken up by the senior party leaders.
“The nation needs a leader like Narendra Modi who has a vision of development. Gujarat is a model of progress and development...,” Rajawat told reporters yesterday at a function organised by local rice millers.
The MLA from Ladpura area of Kota was responding to media queries on Modi as a possible Prime Ministerial candidate for the party.
The country would benefit if the country gets a leader like Modi, Rajawat said.
