Karnataka education minister Tanveer Sait, who is facing allegations of watching sleazy pictures of women on his cellphone at a Tipu Jayanti event, was reportedly surfing revealing photographs of Melania, a former model and the third wife of US President-elect Donald Trump.
According to a Times of India report, senior police officers who sourced the video footage of Sait at the public event said, “The photographs the minister was allegedly watching were of Melania Trump. Her pictures, taken more than 15 years ago, gained new traction in the run-up to the US presidential election after Trump's shock victory. Among the many messages sent to the minister's WhatsApp account, Melania photographs, too, popped up on the screen.”
The report further states that the photos in question were shot for a magazine in 1999 when she was Melania Knauss, a renowned name in the modelling world.
On the other hand, Tanveer Sait claimed that he did nothing wrong and lodged a complaint with the cybercrime cell against a reporter and cameraman for filming her.
Sait, who represents Narasimharaja constituency in Mysuru, denied any wrongdoing on his part, saying he was only browsing Whatsapp messages on Tipu Jayanti celebrations in Raichur.
