A woman who had earlier attacked Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal with ink today hurled a shoe at Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain.
The incident took place today when Jain was coming out of the Income Tax office in Delhi. The shoe, however, did not hit Jain and fell on the car. He was appearing before the IT department after being
summoned in connection with a tax evasion probe against certain Kolkata-based firms.
The attacker, identified as Bahvna Arora, is an activist of Aam Aadmi Sena, a splinter group of the Aam Aadmi Party.
She came into limelight when she had attacked AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in January, while he was delivering a speech at a thanksgiving rally of the odd-even scheme in Chhatrasal Stadium.
She was arrested by the police and was later sent to a 14-day police custody.
Satyendar Jain was last week summoned by the IT department which directed him to appear before the Investigating Officer of the case and furnish personal financial details and ITRs for the last four years.
The Health Minister, who arrived at noon, was accompanied by party leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh.
