Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad on Sunday gathered political heavyweights, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, at a single stage in his Patna rally, in a display of opposition unity. His rally, however, had its fair share of controversies. Lalu, known for his witty one liners, allegedly tweeted out a photoshopped image of people attending the rally at Patna's Gandhi Maidan.
News agency ANI was first to point out the discrepancy in the image tweeted by Lalu and put out a picture taken "from same point where Lalu Prasad Yadav's purported picture was taken."
Here is the picture tweeted out by Lalu Yadav:

Another twitter user also tried to prove that the image posted by Lalu was photoshopped:
Twitter users did not take this lightly and chided the RJD chief for his purported blunder:
Besides Mamata and Akhilesh, the rally was attended by rebel JD(U) leaders Sharad Yadav and Ali Anwar, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and C P Joshi, CPI's S Sudhakar Reddy and secretary D Raja, JMM chief Hemant Soren, JVM president Babulal Marandi and NCP leader MP Tariq Anwar among others.
