New Delhi: External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj has emerged as a hands-on politician in the last two years of her term. Despite the extremely busy schedule, she is a nifty Twitter user.
In fact, it is because of her activeness on social media that she has reached out to those who sought help when in distress, whether it is the case of Indians trapped in Nepal during the earthquake or the Yemen war.
But on Monday, a Twitter user whose handle is @M_venkatM, tagged Sushma Swaraj and Consumer Affairs MinisterRam Vilas Paswan in his post seeking help with a company that wasn’t replacing his faulty refrigerator.
The user, who goes by the name of Venkat on Twitter, even mentioned the serial number of the refrigerator in his post.
And surprisingly, the BJP leader responded to the tweet, and that too in a very witty way.
“Brother I cannot help you in matters of a Refrigerator. I am very busy with human beings in distress,” she replied.
The reply, and the humour therein, set off a massive reaction from social media users.
