Over the controversial Rafale deal in which the offset contract was not given to public sector Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took a dig at Modi government and said that his party will bring to justice all those who "dishonoured and stole."
"To every Air Force officer and jawan who has served India. To the family of every martyred Indian fighter pilot. To every person who ever worked for HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited). We hear your pain. We understand how you feel. We will bring to justice all those who dishonoured and stole from you," Gandhi tweeted.
“PM Modi could not look me in the eye when I asked him why Anil Ambani was given a contract despite there being Rs. 45,000 crore debt on him,” he further said.

Gandhi's remarks came amid the raging controversy over the purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets from the French company Dassault Aviation.
Congress party has intensified its attack at the Modi government after former French President Francois Hollande recently claimed that the Indian government suggested a private firm for the offset contract.
Hollande has said that the Indian firm had been suggested by the Indian government for the Rs 30,000 crore offset contract and the French side including Rafale maker Dassault Aviation had "no choice" in it, news agency IANS reported.
The opposition party has also been accusing present government of indulging in crony capitalism. However, the Modi government has denied any wrongdoing.
