Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave for Gujarat tomorrow and he is scheduled to attend a number of programmes in different areas of the state over next two days.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to unveil some projects Gujarat during his visit.
"My first two programmes will be in Sabarmati Ashram. I am looking forward to taking part in the centenary celebrations of Sabarmati Ashram," PM Modi tweeted.
His second programme at the Ashram was meant to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandraji, a Guru to Mahatma Gandhi.
"I will then travel to Rajkot where I will join the Samajik Adhikarita Shivir and interact with my Divyang (physically challenged) sisters and brothers. I shall attend a programme at Aji Dam, where there will be irrigation and water-related initiatives that will be dedicated to the nation," he in a series of tweets.
Modi said on June 30 he would dedicate water supply schemes.
"Government of India is undertaking several initiatives to support the textiles sector, which is a source of employment for several Indians," he tweeted.
"On June 30 evening, I shall inaugurate the integrated sports and entertainment 'Arena Project'," he said.
