Mumbai:Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has referred the transfers of 110 officials including deputy collectors and tehsildars, effected by his former cabinet colleague Eknath Khadse, to the service establishment board.
Days before his resignation on June 4, Khadse’s office had recommended transfers of 110 deputy collector-level officials.
CM has now turned these down altogether, sending all files in this regard back to the revenue department, said sources.
Before he resigned following a string of allegations, Khadse, as the revenue minister, had transferred the officials and the file was sent to Fadnavis for his nod.
The Chief Minister referred it to the board as per the standard operating procedure, a CMO official said.
