Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today took a dig at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal and said that his 'facade' of honesty is being exposed slowly.
“Kejriwal ab dharti mei gad raha hai. Iska koi na koi mantri phaste jaa raha hai, imaandari ka pol khulte jaa raha hai (Kejriwal is now sinking deeper under earth and his ministers are getting caught. The facade of honesty is slowly getting exposed),” he said.
Reacting to Rahul Gandhi’s “khoon ki dalali” remark against PM Modi, Lalu conceded that the Congress vice-president could not articulate his views properly.
“Army par koi shaq na kare, Rahul ji apni baat theek se nahi rakh paaye (Nobody can doubt the Army, Rahul was unable to voice his views properly).” Lalu Yadav said.
Yadav, however, refused to criticise or reprimand Rahul Gandhi for his remarks accusing PM Modi of “hiding behind the blood of soldiers”.
Earlier in the day, Rahul defended his controversial ‘khoon ki dalali’ remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that he will not support using Indian Army in political posters.
“I fully support the surgical strikes and I have said so unequivocally, but I will not support using the Indian Army in political posters and propaganda all across the country,” Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
