Blasting out at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today said the AAP leader is an expert in lying and his party is a "blot" on the face of Delhi.

The remarks by the BJP came in response to Kejriwal’s “goon” comment.

"People of Delhi know who the goon is. Arvind Kejriwal who always looks for excuses not to work is known for abusing rivals. He is the champion of lies. Kejriwal who always runs away by giving some excuse, should concentrate and work on the problems faced by people in Delhi.

"He should not defy the constitution. He should stop bad mouthing Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Kejriwal's party is like a blot on the face of Delhi. Through his constant abuses, he always insults the people of Delhi," BJP national secretary Srikant Sharma said.

Without taking names of any political party and making direct reference to anyone, the Delhi Chief Minister said the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will continue to fight for full statehood by going to any extent as "goons in the high echelons" of the government hinder the work of Delhi.

"There is anger amongst the people. These abuses are an insult to the poor of the country for whom Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working. He should correct his language.

Whenever the people of Delhi get a chance, they will wash away this blot by pushing the button on the EVMs," Sharma said.
