The Gorakhpur Congress Committee has unveiled a poster showing Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav riding a bicycle and describing them as Jodi no.1.
The poster depicts Akhilesh Yadav as next chief minister and the Gandhi scion as the next prime minister.
The poster shows Congress President Sonia Gandhi saying, "Mere Karan Arjun BJP-BSP ko Hareyenge" ( My Karan Arjun will defeat BJP and BSP), reminiscent of actress Rakhee's famous dailogue, "Mere Karan Arjun waapas Aaayenge"
The cycle riding duo was shown nearest to the chair of power followed by Mayawati riding an elephant, the trio of Modi, Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh was shown at distant last.
SP founder Mulayam Singh, who may have an Advanisque kind of role in his party, is also seen in background waving hands along with daughter in law Dimple Yadav. Priyanka Gandhi can also be seen with crossed hands.
