The Congress today came out in support of its election campaign strategist Prashant Kishor who is facing flak after the party’s disastrous performance in the just-concluded UP Assembly elections.
A poster was recently displayed at the Congress office in Lucknow, sarcastically offering five lakhs in exchange for locating Prashant Kishor.
"The Congress Party values the hard work and contribution of PK and team and rejects the propaganda by vested interests," party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala tweeted today.
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh also came out in support of Prashant Kishor and said that the Congress strategist and his team played a critical role in the party’s victory in the state.
“Fully endorse this! As I have said many times before, PK & his team and their work was absolutely critical to our victory in Punjab!” Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted.
