The minor victim in the Bulandshahr gangrape today moved the Supreme Court seeking FIR against UP Minister Azam Khan over his outrageous comments.
The 14-year-old girl said that the case should be transferred to Delhi to ensure free and fair probe. She has also sought a court-monitored probe into the matter.
The girl, who was raped on July 30 along with her mother, has requested schooling for herself, and security and rehabilitation for her family.
Earlier this month, senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan had kicked up a controversy with his insensitive remarks suggesting that the gangrape could be a political conspiracy against the ruling Akhilesh Yadav government.
On Friday, the Allahabad High Court ordered a CBI inquiry into the case observing that it was ‘not satisfied’ with the police investigation so far.
On July 30 morning, the minor girl and her mother, who were on their way from Noida to Shahjahanpur with four other family members, were gangraped by a gang of dacoits on the Delhi-Kanpur highway in Bulandshahr district.
